Follow-up visits:

Should you wish, you will receive advice on diet, nutritional supplements, exercise, breathing and postural instruction as you get on the road to better health.

FAQs

Do I have to have a problem to see a chiropractor?

Not necessarily, because chiropractic can be used to maintain general health. Carol treats clients of all ages and all levels of fitness, re-aligning their spines and getting their nervous systems back in balance.

Does the treatment hurt?

In general, there is no pain. Some people are fearful of “cracking”, and so Carol also offers gentle adjustments.

What is the cracking sound?

The “cracking” sound is simply a release of gas pressure inside the joints. All joints are surrounded by fluid and just like when you “crack” your knuckles, a sound is heard.

Is it safe?

Carol works on many babies, toddlers, teens and older people in the practice. The force required is adjusted for each individual. A simple “hold” or pressure can be applied to achieve an adjustment. Carol has 18 years of experience and continues to update herself on safe, effective procedures to care for her clients.

What does an initial evaluation include?

Your Initial Evaluation will include postural and face analysis to determine symmetry or asymmetry, including photos, Muscle strength Testing, Brain balance Testing and Coordination Testing.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

If you have x-rays, do bring them along. They are not necessary unless you have recently been involved in a motor vehicle accident, work or other type of injury.

Do I need a referral from my Doctor?

It is not required.

How long does the Initial Visit take?

Expect total visit time to be 30 minutes. Short and long consultations are available for follow-ups.

Do you accept Work Cover cases?

Yes. Simply make a request to your insurance company.
